I don't think this is a deal at all. actually, a buddy of mine just got this camera w/ the kit lens for 750 at costco w/ instant rebate.

This is $799 with a all-in-one, seems like a decent deal to me as long as you send in the rebate and actually need the all-in-one.

I am sure your 28-80 USM could keep up with the action, too. .

yup, but the best deal is the lifetime return policy at Sams club.

If you are ever unhappy with your camera for any reason even just to upgrade they will give you a refund in the form of the way you paid for the camera, provided that you have all your papers.

I had an XTi and a 40D that I bought from them, had the XTi over six months and returned it due to a couple problems, had the 40D 1 year to date when I walked in to return it and got my money back, no problems.

Both camera's developed problems that I didnt want to mess with by returning it to Canon, and the 40D was out of its factory warenty that day though it had had the problems for several months.

Sams is the better choice ;)

Sams Club has lifetime warranty for electronic items?

I know CostCo changed from unofficial lifetime return to 90 days - I guess too many were abusing the policy.

I'm sure Sams will do the same thing soon enough.

About this deal, if you sell the printer on ebay you might not do to badly overall.

Remember that these units are fairly heavy (I have an MP960) and costly to ship, dunno how well that'd do on eBay.

Note that the deal in the first post is *after mail-in rebate*, which means that you're (depending on state) paying sales tax on a higher price, which should be factored in.

$799 for this deal.

- 185 for the printer on ebay / craigslist / POTN MP = $614 for the kit!

And if you don't need the lens, it comes to $514 for the body if you sell the lens for $100.

Body only $725 @ BH http://www.bhphotovideo.com …OS_Rebel_T1i_Digital.html (external link)
