Not a Penguin. There are no penguins in North America. Your bird looks good for a Thick-billed Murre.

Not sure what type of birds these are but they're interesting to see.

Definitely not a murre. Look like Penguins to me--little blue perhaps. Where was the shot taken?

They look like they are in a zoo. But I just looked at every known penguin species and saw nothing that looked like these. Whatever they are, they are cute little things. :)

After looking at this picture again not in the middle of the night they certainly aren't Murres. I assume these pictures were not taken in the wild if they are from the US. Were these at a zoo?

Cute or what?! They look like Fairy (or Little Blue) Penguins, indigenous to southern Australia and New Zealand apparently.
