Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone would know what program to use for this. I have seen it before when photographers use an additional monitor or laptop to view photos as they shoot. any hints on what to use would be great and what the pros are for doing so.

thanks

You can use your EOS utility on your laptop if you have it hooked up via usb. You can also use the video cable and plug it into portable dvd player or anything else with a video-in plug.

This thread might help.

It links you to the manuals for the XTi/EOS Utility and walks you how to update the firmware on your camera. There might be something in there that fixes the problem.
Good Luck.

Note that EOS Utility requires at least Windows XP SP2.
