I've looked at the designs from others and decided to come up with one of my own. Instead of taping mine together I decided to just use tabs and slots. You may want to use white tape on the joints just to block any leakage but I don't know if that is needed. I ordered some 500 watt work lights from Northern Tools but of the first two, only one worked. I exchanged it and believe it or not, the new one didn't work either. I can't get a replacement until tomorrow so no actual shots from the box yet, but here are some pictures (of the box) and a set of plans. You can easily change out the cloth for frosted glass or even gels.

Neat idea, but do you really need 500w lights for a small light box like this? Seems a bit overkill to me, but I've never used light boxes before.

I don't know, this is my first! The are only $7.99 each. I may go to the Incandescent florescent bulbs suggested in other theads with the cheap reflectors and a homemade lightstand. As soon as I can replace the faulty light I'll do some tests.

I thought that maybe a new one was needed since the first few pages aren't usable for that one anymore, at least onmy system they show up as red x for the illustrations.

After messing with color temperature and exposures here are a couple of shots. I took the light apart, put it back together and it worked...although I never found anythng wrong with it...
