I'm envious! I got a large herd of ewes and young ones but not a single ram to be seen!
You got some good shots. (I was in Colorado, not Nevada.....)

Looks like you got to put that 400 lens to good use :) Very nice...love the first one and it's angle :)

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Nice shots, Randall. Can't believe the damage to that old ram's horns. He must have had some battles during his time.

I like that 1st shot with the opposing horns. Almost looks like a photoshopped image or mirrored! Very cool to be that close!

Thanks All! I was fishing a bass tourniment at the time so I was kinda rushed and took these from my boat. I plan to go back to the location and beach the boat and shoot them again properly. I have seen this heard many times over the past several years.
What was amazing to me was when I first spotted them there was a buck running with them. In fourty years of fishing Lake Mead, this is the first time I have seen a deer at the lake.

Same here, until I noted the number of legs. LOL! Great captures! That Canon 400mm lens really has some nice reach. Did you use an extender on the lens for these shots?

No extender on these three. I did take some with the 2X when they were up on the ridge but thet are not very good shots.

Nice and crisp and clear.

I would hate to think the damage it could do to you if you got in the way.
