Happy Turkey Day to you as well Derek!

Getting closer to my Dec. 1st guess :-)

:lol::lol:

That's my sister's guess as well. If my wife hasn't had the baby by then, they're going to induce her (on Dec 1st), so you might end up being right! She's out of room and in a fair amount of pain.

I don't know that one Roy- did you mean Peyrignac? In which case no, not north- you are very close now though.

Here is a clue as I have to retire soon- this is not in a town or city. It is of historical significance.

Lascaux ?

Very close Sean. This place is usually one of the circuit of tourist attractions around Lascaux in the Vezere valley.

La-Roque-Saint-Christophe ?

Good guess! But it's the other Troglodyte site (of the two major cave villages in the area).

Perigord?

I think it is included in the Black Perigord region.

No. This place was last continuously inhabited hundreds of years ago (from prehistoric times) but was lived in from time to time until a few decades ago. Together with the one you mentioned it is the largest and most visited of the Troglodyte (cave dwellers) villages.
