Is it here, over the Hunter river near a place called Denman ?

http://www.visitdenman.com.au/images/DSC02695.JPG (external link)

It is the bridge in the picture - but that is not near Denman as Denman is not on the Hunter River - although if you stay there you might make a daytrip and pass this bridge. I think It will be fairly easy now to find the location of the bridge.

Yeah, I wondered about that, as the watercourse under the bridge doesn't look big enough to be worthy of "river". Good to be going in the right direction ...

It is actually the Hunter River... :) ) And again names and looks are deceptive. Lake Eyre is usually for 95% dry.

Welcome Troy. Yes it is the bridge(s) across the (upper) Hunter River near Moonan Flat. Sean was close but a bit slow at the finish... :)

Yes, normally we wait for conformation by the poster of the WAIN. Well - you got the confirmation so: over to you!

Yes! Although more specifically it's Hawkins Hill but close enough as there's only one radar dome near Wellington. :)

Over to you vk2gwk..
