Looks like one of the Gazebos in Central Park. 72nd Street traverse on the left and central park drive west to the right of the photo.

I actually have not seen this Gazebo from this side, but it looks like a place I saw a photo shoot occurring a few weeks ago.

So am I anywhere near the correct country?

Sorry about that, guys. Crazy night.

Ken was correct, anyway. Good job.

I knew you would chime in with this one! It is indeed in Central Park somewhere and you are absolutely correct with the location of the streets. However, what's the name of this area in Central Park?

I love this thread for learning about other places, but there is something very recognizable about my home town!!

Does the Gazebo have a name, or you mean the larger general area?

Actually I had no idea it had a name. It's not Sheep's Meadow or the Great Lawn as those are north and south. The boat basin and the fountain are to the East. Not sure what this part is called.

I don't know if the gazebo has a name but the general area has one. I just checked the Central Park website and it's on there.

I am looking for a photo to post before I give the name.

Not sure I have one.

You can guess it correctly and post a photo later. There's a 12 hour grace period.

Not Cherry Hill. Although that reminds me of a dirty joke I learned when I was a kid.

Then I have no idea what it is called. On the Central Park website, if you select Cherry Hill, there is a path on the left side that leads to the Gazebo, but I do not see another name for it.

I could probably walk there in about 20 minutes and get the answer, but I worked a long week, so it will have to wait till tomorrow. If no one figures it out by tomorrow, I will go look for signs in the morning.

Here is a link with the name Cherry Hill and another view of the Gazebo

Edit: Do you want the name "Wagner Cove"

Edit 2: Here it is called the Cherry Hill Boat Landing.

Yes, I was looking for Wagner Cove. I guess Cherry Hill is actually the name of the boat landing!
