Wonder what definition Roy has for "Home Counties". There are eight different ones between the 1851 and the 1995 dfinitions according to Wikipedia (external link).

I'd always thought it was just those around London and Middlesex, but also including Berkshire. That would be those in the Wikipedia map, but not including either of the Sussexes.
