Hi all, a short time ago, we rescued a puppy. The vet says she is a "brown dog". Anyway, here is a shot of her. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

she does have the same back hair as the ridgeback but her coloring on the stripe has blended in with the rest of her so nw the only darkness she has is on her face and her tail.

Chestnutty Member 117 posts Joined Aug 2008 More info | There is a fun book that someone gave to me so that I could ID my new stray. It's titled, The mutt Book..Decoding Your Dog's Heritage by David Alderton. Even if you just sit in B&N to go through the book...you might get an idea of where those "brown parts" originated. Enjoy your beautiful brown dog!
