Shot handheld with a G9, 3 exp +/- 2 stops and processed with Dynamic Photo HDR. Location is the Grand Haven MI Coast Guard Festival.

So would I, and I use one with my 50D. But the G9 goes in my pocket and the tripod stays home when I'm traveling where photography is not my prime objective of the trip.

Too many ghosts, halos and noise. The G9 and handheld is not a very good tool at that time of the day, not enough light.

not bad for hand held! i would have expected a lot more ghosting.


Canon 5D3, Canon XTI (IR converted), 24-70 f2.8L, 16-35 f4L, 50 1.4, 70-200 f2.8L, 100 2.8 macro, 430 ex & 580 exII speedlights.
