It isn't easy to know where someone is at with their art since most of us meet in a thread or two for a simple exchange. No doubt each camera could be taxed into creating impressionist images and in fact it might make a fascinating portfolio.
I wasn't expecting this thread to be the deal maker for the 5DII or 85L. It is simply an offering few others have made (I presume). We can surf this site and find many excellent images made with this equipment. If I was spending $5k I would look at them all including the ones I posted.
I am new to this site so I am not sure where everything goes just yet.
