Sorry to ask about such stupid question. I have read through the bag review post but I still cannot find the good one.

The problem for me is BUDGET!!!. I am living in Canada, so all the free shipping in US store is not applicable for me.

I want to have a Backpack that fit my gear + some extra room to carry my wife stuff like small wallet, bottle of water, SD800IS or compact Camcorder.

I don't need any space for laptop because I don't want it too heavy to kill myself.

My budget will be 50$ around CAD. I know it is hard and crazy but if anyone can provide me some suggestion and link to buy, it is really appreciated.

The gears I currently have are:
Canon 450D (XSI)
Tamron 17-50 F2.8/55-200mm F4-5.6 IS both with hood on
50mm F1.4 USM
Flash 430EX II with sotfen diffuser on
18-55mm F3.5-5.6 IS (optional, i can leave it home as I have Tamron)
4 SD memory card
1 Extra battery
1 remote control
2 filter
1 cleaning cloths

Canon 450D (XSI)
Tamron 17-50 F2.8/Canon 55-200mm F4-5.6 IS
50mm F1.4 USM
Flash 430EX II
18-55mm F3.5-5.6 IS (as backup)

I used to have the Lowepro CompuDaypack, and was extremely happy with it. Very unassuming. Photo compartment on the bottom, normal backpack compartment on the top, and a laptop compartment closest to your back when wearing it.

I don't know about Canada, but I think these run about $50US at Best Buy, state-side.

Look at the Lowepro Flipside 200. It should run around $60 CAD. Keep your eyes opened for used backpacks on craigslist. I just scored a close to new Mini Trekker for $30 CAD. You can check out my other thread about it. :)

A backpack for under $50.00 Canadian, you might be able to find one used? I have the same problem with free shipping. I live in Hawaii, so it doesn't apply to us either. You can probably fit everything you have into a Lowepro Micro Trekker 200 Backpack. It cost $64.95. I'm sure you can find it where you live? http://www.bhphotovideo.com …o_Trekker_200_Black_.html (external link)

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick

I've seen it at amazon for $79.95. You might be able to find it for less. http://www.amazon.com …ref=noref?ie=UTF8&s=photo (external link)

checked most of your recommendation
1- Lowepro CompuDaypack: 60$ US but no extra room to carry my wife stuff like small wallet, bottle of water, SD800IS or compact Camcorder.

2- Lowepro Flipside 200: I found it 60$ CAD with shipping. But no extra room to carry my wife stuff like small wallet, bottle of water, SD800IS or compact Camcorder.

3- Tamrac expedition3: o extra room to carry my wife stuff like small wallet, bottle of water, SD800IS or compact Camcorder.

on a other froum i have bought a lowepro slingshot 200 aw used for only 35 euro , the bag looks still like new .. so perhaps google backpack secondhand there are some guys and girls that buy new gear like i buy soda's :D and notice that it doesn't fit anymore in the current bag.

my lowepro doesn't fit my entire gear too but that is not a problem to me

also look on photocamel.com at the marketplace or here if there is a sell / buy section..

in the lowepro slingshot 200 AW fits this :

4 lenses
1 body (dslr) with a zoomlens ,strap, sunhood
in a top compartment fits a dslr body (like a nikon d70) (so it is big enough for a modern camcorder) .. your wife's wallet can fit in the lady's handbag or in the bop compartiment too, and then there still is room for a rocket blower and some small things like CF cards or sd cards so take a look at my review here in the accessoires section https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=736662

Hi All,

I decided to buy the Tamrac Aero Speedpack 75. Thank you once again for all of your suggestion

Nikocanion, I visited the store to see the Slingshot 200aw. It is really good idea however the top compartment is a bit too small for me.

Tamrac Speedpack 75 has bigger room in top compartment which is fullfill all I require:
1- Easy to get my gear with side door
2- Top compartment to carry non camera stuff for my wife
3- Less than 100$ (I will pay only 85$ CAD with tax and shipping)
4- Look fine and unlike camera backpack
5- enough room for my gear

I will update once I got my backpack. It is currently out of order.
