I took this August 12, just after midnight. I used my 70-300 DO at 300 with a Kenko 1.4x, taking me to 420 on my 50D. Settings were ISO 200, Shutter 200, Ap 5.6 (which was more than that with the extender - what - 8 maybe?)

Any and all CC is welcome. I've played with slowing the shutter a bit because to the loss of the stop of light. What else can I do? I'm using tripod, remote release, IS off, all manual. I tried mirror lock but didn't see any difference...
