Well done, I don't have any suggestions at all for cropping the first one, I wouldn't change a thing personally. I think the close up turned out really well too. That's a really cute pose in the 3rd one, looks like she was having fun striking that one for ya!

thank you, its funny, at her age, she gets all gitty when she sees me pull out the camera and always wants to see her image out of the LCD screen after i take a shot :D

In number one you didn't focus on her eyes. That would be critique number one. Same in photo no. 3. Also in 1 and 3 her eyes look a little dull. Perhaps you could have brightened your flash a little or do it in your post-processing. In the first and third the color balance seems to be off.

Cute girl but ... The WB looks awfully yellow/green to me.

I'd also watch your arms and leg cutoffs. And the center shots tend to be less appealing. I feel that you need to work on better composition as well. It's one thing to just have your subject in the shots, it's another to have your subject framed in the shots.

Rule of Thirds (external link) would be prime on these shots.

Hope you understand what I'm trying to say.

^yea i know the rule of thirds, i just didnt think it needed it

actually on number one i coulda sworn i was locked in on the eyes ???

yes i have trouble fine tuning my WB during post on DPP, i need more practice

as far as the arm leg cutoffs thats what i need help on, where is it OK to cut them off???
