A friend of mine used a site for his cards - www.moo.com (external link) - basic info on one side and pics he shot on the other - good quality and pretty cheap on the ol pocket book - check it out...

^Agreed.

Moo cards are a good way to start Andy. I wish I did but I went with Vistaprint as they were cheap and I thought I had a decent design. People loved it, the photo on it but it still sucked. I ordered two new sets and about to order a third since there are so many sells at Overnight which is a great place to print. I have a sleek simple no photo design. I have a general photo and wedding photo card so I have something for different potential clients. Obviously I'll use the simple on more often but it's good to have back ups and when I run out of one, won't be in such a hurry to order more cause I'll have plenty.

Alright, Thinking about CDIs set. I decided to put together a general logo. I hope this doesn't appear as copying. But I thought idea was very well done.

I like the graphic, but lose the drop shadow and the texture on the text.

I like the simple card (nice card cdifoto). It tells people who you are and how to get a hold of you. Mission accomplished. If they wanna see previous work or what you do, show 'em the portfolio. Good luck man!

I saw you already had a logo done but I'm working on becoming a graphic designer and thought it would be a good chance just to practice... so i made this, don't have to take it, color can be changed and the real size of it is 3200 x 1600 so it can defiantly be enlarged, and 3d can be taken off

So....cause I ordered it, opinions don't matter? Helpful.

The textures and drop shadows were removed as you recommended. Took your advice.
