Hi All,

My friend gave me his Quantaray PZ-1 DSZ Flash unit. I am trying to trigger it as a slave by the hot shoe flash from my Canon 350D.
The PZ-1 flash is not triggering with the hot shoe flash trigger. I have my Speedlite 580 ex ii on manual mode at 1/8 power.

Any thoughts on how this can work?

Thanks.

Are you using the built in trigger or an add on?

I have a Quantaray 9500B (or something like that). I can't use my 550 ex to trigger it, and it doesn't work with the Cactus triggers, either. When it's mounted to the XT, it works fine. Perhaps they aren't meant to be triggered wirelessly. Was your friend able to do it?
