No choice as I can't see anything.

Thanks for all the replies. Looks like wearing glasses and shooting BIFs can co-exist peacefully. :)

I also wear eyeglasses all the time, no problems. I did have 3 different students who could not MF when doing macro work. Turns out they were wearing Vari-focal lenses. For macro get a pair of Bi-focals. I also recommend glass in your eyeglasses so you don't have to worry about scratching them on the viewfinder.

I don't need glasses to shoot with but in winter when there is bright light and snow, I wear my sunglasses. Works fine for me, I just leave them on.

Unfortunately, I wear a custom-made eye patch.

I'm big into BIF and wear glasses. I couldn't believe this thread. I never thought twice about wearing glasses and shooting BIF. Just Do It!

I can see well enough without my prescription glasses (I do it all week long at work), but when it comes to seeing long distance (freeways signs, scanning for birds, etc) I have to wear my glasses or I'll get major headaches from squinting to much. The most annoying part for me about wearing glasses while shooting is getting smudges on my glasses from the eyepiece. Drives me nuts, lol.
