My sister had an art show today, where she showed off some of her photographs. She asked me to take pictures of the event, as well as the Back the the Bricks car show going on outside. I was switching between my XT and her 40D. (This is my first event; I understand why wedding photographers take multiple bodies). I'm in Flint, MI on vacation, and this is the first time I've left my computer at home.
So, when it was time for me to enjoy the car show, I handed someone my camera. I walked around for a while, taking some nice shots, having fun, saw a lot of family. It was when I was walking up to the door of my father's house, that I realized: the card in my sister's camera belonged to her.
I'll have no problem letting her download the pics from my camera. The problem is that the only computer up and running right now is a laptop that doesn't have a burner. I don't have an external hard drive. I don't know how I'm going to get all of the nice pictures I took on her camera.:cry::cry::oops::mad::cry::cry::cry:

This ever happen to anyone else?

I bought a new camera. It's very advanced - you don't even need it. ~Steven Wright

Copy the pics from her card to your card using the laptop.

Mail her back the card later or buy her a new one and you keep that one.

Easiest solution! They're dirt cheap and can hold several cards' worth, more than a DVD if you want.
