If your camer has a sync port then simple. Put flash on hot shoe, use it in eTTL or manual mode. Now connected CST to the PC sync port of your camera. The CST will trigger the remote flash connected to CSRB.

Place 580EX on camera hot shoe. Put into "Master" mode.
Take other 2 580EX and place elsewhere. Put both into "Slave" mode.

Now here's the tricky part:

Take your CyberSync transmitter and carefully place it back in its box.
Do the same with your CyberSync receivers.
Place boxes next to camera so you can make sure the CyberSyncs stay inside the boxes.

Why do you want a flash unit on the camera?

Ditto, plus the IR SUCKS!!! Use the cybersyncs by connecting the pc terminals.

thanks for all the answers
dave, i want to shoot mainly weddings and while i know that flashes aimed at the head table in manual mode and triggered by the cybersyncs will probably suffice for most shots i am sure there will be ocassions when there are photo opportunities away from the head table where an on camera flash may be useful

Lot of times it is nice to have a flash on the hot shoe in eTTL mode as your main light. You use it in bounced mode to create directional light. Then at the same time trigger off camera flashes using RF triggers. The off camera flashes in manual mode and provide/help ambient light.

Hot shoe flash can also help with AF when in low light situations.
