Not sure if most people like this type of photography, but I thought I'd share anyway. Constructive criticism is always welcome :)

i like this very much! I keep on reminding myself to try something similar. I think the processing is great here, along with the angle. I would've liked for the subject to face the camera though. So... Did you just clone the chair out?

Yes he did. You can tell it on the curtains. I like it by the way. Very creative.

Great Shot..Creative! Nice removal of the chair shadow. Only thing i see is a slight bend in the baseboard above the floor vent. Otherwise, excellent cloning

Thanks!

Ah yes, unfortunately what appears to be a bend in the baseboard is actually there in real life too; the carpet doesn't lie flat there.

It's true what they say... they don't build 'em like they used to!

Thanks a lot :)

It's funny you should ask that, because I just decided to pull the plug on the 365 project. It's not for lack of ideas, but rather due to a lack of time. Unfortunately creating some of the photos I'm thinking of would take longer than the amount of free time I have on a given day. Oh well... I tried. I want to make sure I don't start posting photos I'm unhappy with just to keep up a quota.

You know there is an easier way of getting rid of the chair. Take a picture of the space empty, than move everything in as needed and take another picture.

In PS add both images as layers and Layers->Align and just paint out the chair with a mask. Viola. Much easier than cloning and quicker.

I like this, very dreamlike going towards ethereal .

An image that challenges the viewer.

Concentrate on equipment and you'll take technically good photographs. Concentrate on seeing the light's magic colours and your images will stir the soul. - Jack Dykinga

Yep, that's definitely the way to do it. Cloning would be far too time consuming.

Sorry, korrektor, I accidentally overlooked your question about cloning -- I did have to do a bit of it to get the shadows right, but most of it was a layer of the bare wall as aram535 suggested.
