They're ready to rut so soon? Wow! I was thinking mid to late September. Guess maybe I can bump up my travel plans - this is one opportunity I don't want to miss!

I actually started a thread about the timing of the Elk rut in RMNP. Here's a link to it: https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=727876

I guess it's hard to know exactly when the cows will go into heat and the rut begin. Please let me know if you have any breaking news with respect to the rut and when it gets into full swing. If the bulls are already bugling then I need to get down there ASAP

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

Pretty much they were there before the roads were. So why should he budge. Nice capture.

Tom - Don't pack your bags just yet. I doubt the rut will start any sooner than usual...but the guys all look good to go right now. Cool wet summer, lot of graze still around. I'm up in the park at least once a week and I'll sing out when they start to congregate and herd up. Thank all for the comments.
