This was taken yesterday at the Bolsa Chica Conservancy down at Huntington Beach. 300mm/f4L + 1.4x, f8, 1/500 @ ISO 400. 10D. There wasn't much color to begin with, so i removed color all together.

Great shot!

Bless the recently fallen and their family and friends.
I have a Cannon with me at all times. You can't take the shot if you don't have something with which to shoot.

Color might have been good, since the Snowy Egret has bright yellow feet.

Wow! That is fantastic! I absolutely love it, because of the way the bird looks like it's sitting down in mid air or something. Very unique. Keep up the great work.
