Hi,

If anyone has both of the above triggers, seeing as they're both 433MHz RF based...can say the CTR-301P transmitter trigger the Cactus receivers?

No. The CTR-301P transmitter will not trigger Cactus v2s or vice versa, frequency of 433MHz is not the oly factor to make them work together.

But the CTR-301P Transmitter does trigger the original PT-04 Receivers, I can confirm that because I have both and have tested them.
But, sorry the PT-04 Trigger will not trigger CTR-301P Receivers.

Sorry, I don't have the Cactus v4 but those who have said th CTR-301P will not trigger the cactus v4 either. Hope the above helps.

Many thanks. In fact, I have the RD616-type 16 channel receivers, but the Tx has gone missing when I moved house.

So cheap anyway, I might as well plump for the CTR-301P, as I've already favourably used the Yongnuo YN460 in optical mode, very very happy.

Yeah! the YN460 flash is good, I just got two of them recently with my CTR-301P.
If the RD616 is a battery type, you may want to test the Receiver with the CTR-301P, it may work, not guaranteed, but you have nothing to lose.

That's what I was thinking, Mufu. I'll just get a 3 pack of the CTR-301s, and go from there! Worst case, I have spare Rx for any more flashes :D

I've ordered a YN460 set, with 2x Triggers. If they trigger my RD616 Receivers, great. If not, then I'll sell 'em.
