I got an email from Adobesytems.com on Saturday, an offer to upgrade to CS4 for only 299.00, I am a registered PE7 user, the offer is evidently to owners of PE....anyone else get one of these?

Just went to the Adobe site and sent an eemail asking if the offer was legit, should hear back in 3 buisness days, will post the answer when it arrives.

Yes, it is legit. I took advantage of this same offer in February to upgrade.

Ignore the first part I guess, but the second part depends on what you use it for. I personally use both, but mainly LR2. I find very few photos need to be processed to the point that LR2 no longer offers what I need. And I just don't like bridge after two years of using it.


I don't hate macs or OSX, I hate people and statements that portray them as better than anything else. Macs are A solution, not THE solution. Get a good desktop i7 with Windows 7 and come tell me that sucks for photo or video editing.

I got the same email but I'm happy with LR and PSE7. If I had a spare $300. I would spend it on other toys.. I mean on photography gear,:lol:
