Price police help? Nikon SB-80dx

So i found an ad on craigslist for 2 new in box SB-28's that i am planning on using as OCF with my canon 40d and the 580ex that i already have. When i got there it turns out they were Nikon SB-80dx's both look brand new worked fine and had brand new packaging and documentation with them. I use canon gear so I don't know alot about this model but I know the SB-28 are a strobist favorite and after a little quick research I learned the SB-80 is the replacement of the SB-28.


Long story short, I got 2 new, probably "like new" sb-80s for $220 bucks, $110 bucks a piece. Did i get a good deal? What can you tell me about these units. I briefly used them last night and they seem great.

i'd say you did pretty well. i think sb-28s are older than sb-80dxs
