Jon you mean was i scared? surprisingly none of us was scared for the most part, and there is safety in numbers. melissa looked at us a couple of times but she was much more concerned about other bears than us. in fact her clubs got quite close to us and she just kept on grazing. she would never had let an adult bear get anywhere near her cubs. our guides told us of times when mother bears would leave their cubs next to people while they fished because they knew the cubs would be safe. in fact one told of a time when he had to go and look for mom with the cubs in tow http://instagram.com/edraderphotography/
