all a much of a muchness really. I opted for the Pro DG 300 because
a) it's cheaper and I'm a cheapskate,
b) it's optical quality was no different from the Canon tele
c) it not just redundant to mounting on select Canon L glass

The answer depends on the lens used, and what you define as best.

IMHO Canon T-Cons with Canon large white super teles to maintain the weatehr seal, strength and design integrity.

Sigma T-Con for Sigma supr teles for the same reasons..

Kenko will fit any lens, the Canon and Sigma only specific lenses.

I am down to 5 TCs, had 6. What I have found is it depends on the particular combo of camera, TC and lens. There is no one overall winner. Different TCs will work SLIGHTLY better with different combos.

I have a Sigma 1.4x and 2x TC. They have performed well on my lenses - Sigma 70-200 f/2.8, Sigma 50-500, Canon 70-200 f/2.8L IS, Canon 100-400L, Sigma 120-300 f/2.8.

Examples - most have been cropped.
