I've placed my order for a 5D Mark II. And a 35L along with it. I'm expecting it to be in my possession by tomorrow at noon.

And right now, my stomach is in knots, and I can't stop imagining it in my hands. The last time I felt this way was when I got my 70-200 2.8L IS. Actually, the feeling is a lot like the time I accidentally broke something valuable my late father owned and was waiting for him to come home and give me a good whooping. So much money spent....

I don't think I'll be able to sleep well tonight....

Thanks guys.

@makande, I spent quite a few days trying to decide on the lens considering some of the stuff I shoot. So I settled for the 5D2 + 35L. I will also be getting a 17-40L and maybe an 85 1.8 before the end of next month as I don't have enough money to go around right now.

So that setup is paired with my 50D + 70-200 2.8L IS.

I hope I won't be getting anymore upgrade bugs for a while as its reaaaallly hurting my finances.. :(

But I just can't wait for that 5D2 ....

If you do buy 17-40 and the 85 1.8, I have a heck of a setup!!

I think you would be settled for like a year or two....maybe:p!

watch a movie, go for a walk, call a friend to spill your excitement, and go to bed. Voila brown truck at the door. Have fun with the new toy.

Canon "Snappy".... Thanks Mom and Dad!
