When I got out of my truck at our boat slip I noticed a bright light in the sky. Realized I had missed word of a scheduled launch. As quickly as I could I took off the 500 and put on a more suitable lens. If I had prior knowledge of it going up I could have been more at the ready and framed it from a better angle.

Handheld with trucks hood as support. Appx. 50 miles from site.

My wife came in after the fact and told me, "I just saw a launch."

Arrrgh!

Canons to the left, Canons to the right,
We hold our L glass toward the light,
Digitizing in a snap reflective glory
That will forever tell our imaged story.
