Firstly, sorry for shouting.

I am sick of opening links to sales (especially ones i am interested in buying, lol), and finding that they are in a different country to me.

Please can everyone show the country in the header.

Search This Forum -> "UK" -> Go = job jobbed.

If someone in your area doesn't do it they lose out on a sale. I automatically assume that everyone else is in the USA.

I agree, us poor souls in the UK often get dissapointed when we read "CONUS". :(

You mean the sticky from two years ago where this is the first rule?

Yeah, major FAIL in here. It's in the rules. People will follow or not but to keep starting threads about won't do anything.

Already in stickies, it comes up all the time, these topics are best started in the marketwatch area. Posts are not violating any rules (more of a guideline, but I guess it is tomatoe vs tomato with this) and reporting posts for this just adds undue stress to the mods' lives as it is. Also some people will ship to any country, so there would be no country to put in the subject anyways.

Just one of the many nuances of life here on POTN, after a while, you don't even notice, you just open each post, read it, and hit back...

You would think the mods would take time to make this a better place. But your description makes me think that you know something that we don't. That the mods hate us and are stressed out.

I'm sure this thread will be moved by a moderator in no time.

Mods don't hate us. do you know what it takes to moderate a forum like this. This is an endless thankless job that noone likes or wants to do it yet everyone wants to rip apart the ones that do give of their time to keep this running for the rest of us.

Thanks for asking!

Sure do! I moderate on sites that are much larger (albeit not photography related). I was merely making a comment to teamspeed's description.

Moderation is a never ending battle of trying to fool proof a forum, problem is once you think everything is idiot proof along comes a better idiot. Its pretty much common place for people to not take time to read the rules, if everyone did and abided by them like not posting off topic there would be no need for moderators. I too get disappointed when looking for an item and my eyes light up just to find out its in the UK. Oh well, that took up a whole 15 seconds out of my very busy day that I could have spent in NYC traffic instead.

Don't know about the rest of you, but when I post a thread, I regularly check on it to see how many comments & views it has received.

If I discovered my post was deleted because I was non-compliant with fundamental RULES of use, I'd smarten up pretty darn quick! Mods: Just delete them!!

While we're "talking", I'd like to mention that I appreciate users that provide their location information in their profile. If I see that an item is located close to me, my interest level goes WAY up...

Totally agree - whatever country you're in please list the correct area in the title. It helps YOU and US (or ME and YOU depending on whose posting/reading)

I do search for UK to find threads but it shouldn't be required.
