Spent the day at Cleveland Browns training camp. Interesting photo op. Since large cameras are restricted at NFL stadiums, this is the only chance to capture the players.

#5 is good. Try cropping out the half-brown-shirt guy and the orange tent on the left side. This will also help "un-square" the aspect ratio.

I agree that the person is a distraction, but the after feel off balanced. I cropped the before to have the ball on a line of thirds, and the receivers hands on the other third.

On the original shot from the camera (before your first crop), which side has more space to work with?

I had to look at #4 for a while...I was thinking Mr. Quinn had some unusual twist to his arm/wrist. Then I realized it was the arm of the other quarterback...:o  :p
