Anyone here using the new (to me at least) PhotoFast 533X cards? Just curious to see how fast they really are in use.

And look at the price. Transcend have a new 600X faster card but there is a huge price difference.

I didn't see a price for them. I did stumble on their SD to CF adapter...I didn't know that you could do that! I have a few SD cards laying around that could be put to use in my DSLR!...

Just did a little checking and it appears the comment from Rob Galbraith about the cards doesnt appear on his site so makes me wonder about its authenticity.

Great if they work as quickly as quoted and are as reliable as Lexar or Sandisk but I think i will be sticking to Lexar and Sandisk.

I tell all my students that if they shoot with a Canon, avoid Lexar. Too many possible issues. I see R.G. even mentioning it.

OK, got my 32GB 533X card from Dvnation. Hmmm... I have heard of counterfeits but never seen one. Came w/o any bubble pack, or lit. Nothing on the back side of the card. Does make me wonder. It works well though. Fastest card I own, based on my own test. Have not gotten my 8GB 533X card from China yet. will be interesting to compare them.

I sent an email to dvnation asking for an answer. Yes, it looks like a knock off.
