OK...I am looking for ideas on what to charge for this?
An acquaintance of mine who is a former MLB pitcher, is a CEO of a National Character Building Foundation (non-profit) asked if I would be interested in partnering with him to provide photoghraphy services.
This foundation has programs available to address character education needs. Individuals like Guiness World record holders, Master basketball dribbler, former NFL players, former Harlem Globe Trotters, Authors, etc. go out to speak at school assemblies, parental symposiums, etc., and provide staff development for educators.
They want me to provide large photos or even composite posters, like I provide with my business, to give to the organization after their appearance.
Should I charge based on distance traveled, half-day, whole-day. I have a full time job so I want to at least charge what I'd make in an eight hour day there. Some of these shoots may be staged or done so "live" while they perform and I am looking for info from anyone who has experience with these types of events.
