It looks like a cloud has gone over as the 1st shot was taken. With a bit more light I think that one may have looked a bit nicer. They are all getting lost in the background but I guess that's the hard part with cable.. they all seem to have plenty of palm trees or car parks behind them which makes things hard lol.

I'd say the last one is my personal favourite. You can't really see his face but it has nice colours, he's at the peak of his trick and the rider is sharp, plus with those bright boardies and the sun shining on him he pops out a bit more too.

That's my C&C from an amatuers point of view haha, if I'm way off I'm sure one of the better photogs will roast my attempt :D

Jeff.

Gorgeous.. Do you rapid fire? If so I'd love to see the setup / approach to some of those shots.

Yes I do, but often find that the autofocus go a bit helter-skelter, so I rarely get a full series in focus, so I only edit the better shots in each series

Very talented athletes. !

I don't think there's enough separation to the BG. The shots are busy and a car, a building, a lamp post or a tower in the BG just doesn't look right in this sport.

Are you as wide open as possible? (I don't have an exif viewer on my laptop) Blur those objects into a nice bokeh if you can. Or is there another shooting location you can use to eliminate the objects?

Good captures of the action though.

Cheers.
