This adult male Ruby-throated Hummingbird has stayed with us for a few weeks. He spends much of his time chasing the other hummers away. He's been the "boss" since he has been here. Thanks for looking.

Maybe some migrating through. z06-jim wrote in post #8486325 Nicely done, I like the perched shots but can't ever seem to catch mine sittng still long enough to get one.... ![]() Thanks jim. This little guy just sits at his guard post waiting for another hummer to chase off. canonloader wrote in post #8487381 Nice shots. I set up a hummingbird feeder, but have yet to see one. Any tips, feeding times? Thanks They will show up in time. We set our feeder up in the spring or when we see the first hummingbird. The hummingbirds are here from sun-up to sun-down. Just keep the feeder clean and refill when it's low. jgrussell wrote in post #8488859 Very nicely captured. Much appreciated Judy. Brad
