Hey all....

I'm a noob that will be going on vacation to grand canyon, vegas, and other places in a couple of months....

I was just wondering which lens I should use for taking shots at grand canyon, or which lens do you recommend me getting before this trip? :D

I have these lenses for now:

-50mm 1.4
-55-250 IS
-18-55mm Non-IS Kit

Oh yeah I have an XTI

7D and T1i |17-55mm f/2.8|50mm f/1.4|Sigma 30mm f/1.4|70-200mm f/2.8L IS|55-250mm|580EXII

When I was at the Canyon a couple of months ago, I used my long zoon to take shots of the bridge down in the canyon as well as the houses.
For most of the others, I used my 24-105.
I may have even broken out the 10-22. I don't remember.

Bring them all.

Some people hunt with a gun. I use a Canon.

All I ask is a chance to prove that money can't make me happy.

I agree. Generally, your 55-250 will serve you well.

Take what you have....these will work fine here! 55-250 will be good for condors near the Bright Angel lodge on the rim. Have fun!
