Byron Bay Lighthouse

just got back from a work trip, managed to stop off in Byron Bay for a couple of hours, so I headed for the lighthouse. I was pretty happy when I saw this one on the monitor last night. No sharpening applied, shot with 5dmkii 17-40 @ 29mm f9 1/320 using CPL filter. Fixed converging verticals in PS CS3.

Fancy lighthouse....and nice photo


Gripped Canon XTi with Canon 70-200mm f4L, Canon 17-85mm IS, 50mm f1.8, kit lens, and Tamron 19-35mm. 430ex-ii. Manfroto Tripod, and Velbon CF monopod.

I thought it had a LEGO/plastic-y toy look, too (the building, not your settings).

Anyways, love the deep blue sky and bright white building contrast you got.
