Hi,
it's the first time I write in this forum.
I take pictures since 1999 and now it's becaming a job.
I'd like to know if anyone use the new Tokina 12-24 on a Canon 300d. I need an ultra-wide lens but Canon 10-22 is too expensive for me at this moment and the reviews are not all good. Is the tokina a good lens with canon 300d (sharpness, contrast, flare, CA)?

I'd be very interested in the replies to this one as well.

Others to consider are the

Tamron 11-18 f4.5-5.6
Sigma 12-24 EX f4.5-5.6

and of course the Canon 10-22 that won't fit in my 10D!

Canon: 10D, 17-40L, 300L/f4 and 550EX
Tamron 28-75 XR Di & Sigma 18-125 and 18-50 f3.5 DC
