A few days late but it has been hectic as a hectic thing since Speed Week came to a close. Excellent event - if you have never been then add it to the Bucket List ...

1. Nick Bilton - New Zealand Team Bullett 2005 Yamaha 1700cc - prepares for another run that will see him achieve 146.021 MPH and set a new record, only to see it raised to 153MPH

Awesome shots there, I'd love to see this myself, but by the time I make it down there people will have forgotten what a V8 is and what it sounds like :D

I wondered how long it would take before someone posted some Bonneville shots. Nice work. This year was my first trip and it will be a bit before I can get through enough to post some.

The '53 Ford coupe in #5 is one of the Bean Bandits cars - a legendary group in early drag racing and land speed racing.

Bonneville is such an amazing place to visit and Speed Week is an amazing spectacle to witness. You did a fantastic job on these. #6 is my fav, the DOF and the comp really bring alot of drama and anticipation.


Canon 5dmkII, 7D, both gripped, 16-35L, 24-105L, 70-200 f4L, 100-400L, 500 f/4L. 50mm 1.8, 85mm, 580EXII, YN 460, AB400's, Gitzo, RRS, Think Tank, etc...
