It's sad to see this kind of stuff going on in the world today. Thanks for sharing.

Technically, the shot is good.

Ethically, I have mixed feelings about shots like this. Without knowing the reasons behind the shot and without knowing how this shot is going to be used, what I see is an unfortunate man in what looks to be an urban setting (who may or may not know that his picture was taken).

I would ask that the OP please be very considerate in the usage of this photo. If I am preaching to the choir, then please forgive me. Street photography is a very noble pursuit imo, but I believe that care must be taken with those who cannot defend themselves; namely, children and the indigent.

Regards,

Ian

Ian,
I may have considered your position more seriously had you sent me a private message. Instead, you've openly criticized my post and preached to me and the world your on-high position about it. And, don't bother sending one now, I won't respond.
Have a nice day.
Chris

If I have been rude (and I don't think I have) I have already asked forgiveness. The PM is a good idea and I wish I would have thought of it earlier. I have not criticized your post - if I have, please point it out to me so that I may make amends. I'm not here to insult or belittle you in any way.

But to be honest, if you think I'm a jerk then so be it. In this case I ask you to consider the message and forget about the messenger...

PS - What I see in your pic is a budding street photographer. That's why I'm taking the time.

PPS - I went and looked at your site. Nice! You two do some good work.
