Nice shots.

How is the security across the pond when taking these shots. I hear about alot of guys getting questioned over here.

These were taken from the threshold of 27L on a patch of open ground where plenty of others induldge in the hobby :)
No issues with the security services at all - the same can be said at Manchester (probably the best airport in the UK for photography).

No problems from security at that location as it is not on airport property but the police or airport security may take an interest if you are on airport property, this usuallt involves taking details and maybe a search but they don't often ask you to move on.

TBH I find Vegas, Phoenix and LAX far easier for hassle free photography than any airport in the UK.

Lovely series of shots, nice and sharp. I do alot of fishing round the heathrow area. here's a couple of pics i took the other day while down there.
