#1 - Looks like it's over-processed, as if you tried to rescue a bad exposure. There's a wide range of lights and darks in this, which your camera's sensor couldn't register. This would be an ideal subject for an HDR technique.

#2 - It looks like it's a picture of a pool, but the eye is drawn to the people. What was your goal? If the people, crop off the bottom half.

#3 - Not sure where you were going with this. Is it a memory shot of a wedding reception or a candlelit bottle of wine? (Maybe not wine. The top looks like a soda pop top.) If the reception, then too much is out of focus and there are no identifiable people in it. If the bottle, a tighter, vertical crop would have served a better purpose by removing much of the background clutter.

@joe
thanks for that. number one picture had too much whites and blacks... agreed. HDR would prob be a good idea.

number two, I was actually trying to balance the tree reflection and the people in the shot.

number three i was just getting the feel of the cozy ambiance where we ate. yeah a tighter crop would do nicely.

thanks :D

I like 2 and 3! Just as they are, gives the air and atmosphere to me.I want to be there.;) First thing I noticed in the second were the palm tree reflections.

I think a full conversion maybe better? There really isn't alot of color to keep ? Looks good though.
