I want to know what you all think of two shots from my walk the other day (around nyc):

I have to try to desaturate that little spot on the lower right corner.

#1 adorable. I like the coloring. Looks as if the critter is in some sort of jail.

#2 a little unsure about. I like the focal point, yet I'm tempted to see what it looks like more straight.

I'd agree, the first is much stronger. It might be interesting to see what the second looks like in B&W considering its already almost there.

Hi all,

Thank you for your comments.

Flo - do you mean add borders?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I beleive she means print it out, buy a real physical frame and hang it up on your wall.

First one almost looks too real to be real. Never seen a squirrel that clean and groomed before. (That sounds weird even to me.)

Both very nice shots in my opinion. I like the DOF on both.

Well the squirrels around that area are well-fed so perhaps it helps their coat :)

DerekSimon - thanks!!

I like #2! It's not really 'exciting' or anything, but the bridge is definitely something people would view with the subject.

One is just adorable, I love it! Great capture.
The second one is interesting, Id like to see maybe a little more of the scene.
