Hi I was thinking about picking up the canon sd780 is and I noticed they just announced the 940is which seems to have almost the exact same specs? Does anyone have any experience with the 780? I'd like to get some input if I can before I get one? Thanks in advance,

Alan

I am not familiar with the 940, but have the 780. I absolutely love it!

Actually, the 940 appears to have all the 960's features in a 780-sized package. I almost bought a 960 yesterday, but I'm going to hold out and see how the 940 pans out before making a purchase.
