Hi folks
Don't normally ask for opinions on lens choices. I figure that if you don't know what to buy then maybe you don't need a new lens. So maybe I've already answered my own question
Anyway, I'm an absolute wide angle junky. Just swapped a Siggy 10-20 for a 17-40 (and bought a 1Ds to stick it on). The 17-40 is definitely a 'do it all' lens and is giving me decent results. The sort of lens I can chuck on and just shoot with. I'm after another wide angle to complement it though. I shoot mainly landscapes, and very often the camera is tripod mounted these days.
Options are to go w--i--d--e--r with a 14/2.8 or a 15/2.8 (which is appealing to me it has to be said), or to go narrower - I'm thinking either of the 24Ls here for the 'classic' focal length. Again, t&s is appealing here. Also interested in hearing about Siggy 12-24.
Any thoughts from other WA junkies out there who might own a couple of the above? Any other suggestions for lenses that I should look at?
Always nice to see samples
Cheers!
