I wasn't aware that Finland had a population of Brown Bears. "Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.

Aug 23, 2009 13:25 | #8 Thanks for your comments! ajosteve wrote in post #8508677 Excellent shot...that's one huge bear! How close were you? I think it was something like 20 meters...I was inside the hide, so it was not that bad. The hide has about one feet by one feet squared holes for cameras. One of the bears was sniffing the holes of the hide next to me - luckily it passed me hide from some six feet distance. Friend of mine was disappointed, he had 24-105 lens in his camera and he could not focus to less than two feet to nearest bear... Tom Reichner wrote in post #8509024 What a nice image? I wasn't aware that Finland had a population of Brown Bears. Yeah, we do. Most of them are in very Eastern par of Finland, close to Russian border. This place is about three kilometers off the border. There are some bears in other parts of country as well. I saw one crossing the road about 50 kilometers from where I live. aebrown wrote in post #8509165 Great shot! You must have had image stabilization because I know I would be shaking in my boots! And a tripod...
