Yep, I agree - what are you shooting?
5D = portraits. I am still in love with my 5D classic. LOVE this camera, it was a life changing experience for me.
40D/50D = sports

Except for birding where I use the 1D, this is "the" camera for my general purpose, the output just amaze me every time I use it. 1DMK4, T6s, 100-400mmL IS II, 16-35mm f4, 100mm macro
