I've deliberately avoided studio settings for my work (Las Vegas is saturated in that area). The setup and pose are both interesting, but the lighting is incredibly hard and unflattering to the child and the processing leaves the image looking flat. I disagree about the lighting, but do think the photo could use a little pp. I do not like the hard round vignettes at all, they are outdated and really take away from your subject a lot. In my honest opinion i would get rid of the pink vignette. I think you did a good job on the shot though.
