This is my first baby shoot, be kind. I usually do not shoot infants and this was an experience. C&C

I think it's a very cute photo but don't really like the pink vignette, maybe white or black would've been better and maybe make the vignette a bit softer?

I am still a newbie and not a pro photog at all but if it was my child I took for a photoshoot I wouldn't really like the pink...? What does mom think of it?

You should settle mom with a steady look and tell her 'no.' The vignette is hideous, and I've found the best way to avoid things like that are to simply not offer them. :)

I'm 50/50 on the image itself. I've deliberately avoided studio settings for my work (Las Vegas is saturated in that area). The setup and pose are both interesting, but the lighting is incredibly hard and unflattering to the child and the processing leaves the image looking flat.

I disagree about the lighting, but do think the photo could use a little pp. I do not like the hard round vignettes at all, they are outdated and really take away from your subject a lot. In my honest opinion i would get rid of the pink vignette. I think you did a good job on the shot though. Especially since it is something out of your comfort zone!
