My 1DMKIII today suddenly started to capture black frames. The Live View is also showing just total blackness.
Is this the shutter? I suspect I only have 50/60K clicks.

Number of cycles isn't seriously relevant, except that if you were far beyond the test rating, a failed shutter would be more likely. But a shutter can fail at any point below that, too. You are asking if it's the shutter. You can take off the lens and look at the shutter operations directly--then you will know better than anyone out here in the cloud can tell you. I wasn't clear obviously, the shutter is working fine, it opens and closes, I'm just getting a black image.
